The Living Voice of God in the New Testament

There's no indication whatsoever in the interpretation by a New Testament author of this Old Testament text that he's talking about something about the authority that leads and guides the church. The context of Paul writing to the Corinthians has nothing whatsoever to do with this at all. I mean, it's just pretty obvious in context that that's not what Paul is talking about. We begin to actually obey God's law, not just by the external recitation of the law, but by the work of the spirit who's given to us through grace.
