What Do You Think About Detachment?

Michael Wolraich: I think it's inconceivable to have a model of wisdom that does involve some sense of detachment from, as you were talking about, maybe a materialism or our own kind of idols of the mind. The second thing you get to is this idea of detachment. You explain how detachment is kind of the bridge between knowledge and tranquility. If you don't have tranquility, you're not peaceful, and you can't get transcendence, you can't really have wisdom. Can you articulate what it is? And maybe a couple of practices of how you get there.
