I must admit I've not sat through an entire Eurovision. It's just too bloody long. They do get admonished for this because there is quite a strict no politics rule laid down by the organisers. People try to politicise it when the vote's coming in and all EU countries vote against Britain because of Brexit. But I think that kind of falls apart when you consider how poorly the UK did pre-2016. Liverpool is hosting on behalf of Ukraine this year which is very lovely. And we look set to have about a decade of Labour Party conference being in Liverpool every single year as they kind of done a massive block booking for several years ahead.
