The Frustration of Betting on the Housing Market

Danny Cevallos: There's a scene in the big short that I think is early reminiscent of what's going on. The housing market, which you were betting against was actually going the way you were betting. It was moving in the right direction for your positions, yet your positions were going the other way. He says people are hiding when it comes to dealing in the space and that's why they're not taking a step back from the underlying issues. "The bears are wrong. They're not looking at the underlying," he says.
