Do You Have a Technique to Focus on One Idea?

If you're a good writer, use interviews for respectable publications as a foot in the door to have contact with people who you aspire to get to know or emulate. Don't ask them for a favor right after interviewing them or something. Develop a real human relationship with them and take your time. Play the long game. And last but not least, hn, why do people get distracted? Why do they jump from project to project to project and quit thing after thing, after thing after thing? I think it's because, primarily, they try to be realistic.
