Introduction
kelly haes: How bad is health care in the united states? A 20 20 study comparing the us. To ten other high income countries found that private medical spending is five times higher in the united States than canada, which was the second highest spender. Even prior to the pandemic, women who were ployed as nurses died by suicide at twice the rate of women who were not employed as nurses. The idea of transforming health care may seem far fetched to some people in the current political moment, but i want us to take a moment to stretch our imaginations.
