The right books exist old and new and countless numbers but very great care is necessary in the choice as well as much experience of the rather whimsical tastes and distaste of children. We do need to remember that that book list is not the silver bullet that makes your breaks a Charlotte Mason education. Only when excellent books are coupled with this understanding of the principles and are put into the appropriate practices which outflow from those principles will we be truly implementing the Charlotte Mason method.
