The Passion Paradox

In fifth grade, I almost broke our elementary school record just missed it in the mile by a couple seconds. But years later, I found running to be enjoyable because I spent time doing it and enjoying this kind of deeper satisfaction around it. We unover index on things that like, you know, in the passion sense, make us feel passionate but under index on long term love. There is a difference between getting really excited about falling in love versus being in a long term relationship. And it's human nature to get caught up in the cheap dopamine, the thinking about it, the getting excited for it.
