I find it very funny that people say the amount of stimulus we threw at the economy was exaggerated and the Fed was accommodated for too long. We have also removed the accommodation super aggressively, both fiscal and monetary. The US economy is growing below trend roughly about 1% annualized growth from the 3, 4% levels of 2022,. So we are trending now rapidly and the pace can't be linear on the way down if it was exponential on the way up. That is why I think as the Fed has raised interest rates really rapidly to 5%. There will be something systemic breaking.
