The Future of Electrical Power

Physicists have known about superconductivity for more than 100 years, it's a classic discovery. But we've sort of not been able to make this work in any practical way. A room temperature, room pressure superconductor could make the electrical power grid far more efficient environmentally friendly. It could also be used in nuclear fusion and the way we manufacture quantum computing hardware.
