In the uko, i should say, in england and wales and scotland, that question of abortion rights is pretty much established. It's illegal in northern ireland, but our closest neighbor ireland, dublin, overturned through a vote, their antibortion was just a few years ago. So it feels very settled here now, for the most part. And yet, it is a viceral, passionate feeling amongst many americans who see abortion, in no uncertain terms, as the killing of babies.
