Inflation index bonds didn't add much honestly because normal bonds were almost risk free too. They're quite similar to inflation index if you know what inflation is going to be. But if inflation is volatile, and in particular, if it may change in a persistent fashion, then normal bonds are not safe assets for long-term investors. So, that's really the issue is how much inflation risk is there.
Navigating the world of finance and investing is undeniably complicated, sometimes unnecessarily so. But what exactly needs to change in order for more people to make wise and well-informed financial decisions? And how do we go about implementing those changes?
