The Primary and Secondary Effects of Spinal Cord Injury
A blocked catheter or a bladder inside can certainly cause autonomic dysreflexia. And that itself by having retention caused in the bladder to kind of expand would be a form of noxious stimulus. Mike's going to quickly talk about what actually happens immediately at the site and then a secondary effect. The primary injury is immediate, the secondary injury will happen seconds, minutes, months, weeks, you know, years after.
