If you are not learning at or above the speed of change, then you're in a dangerous situation professionally. This is where we need to be. Horace Greeley said of Lincoln, he quote, gladly profited by the teaching of events and circumstances no matter how adverse or unwelcome. There was probably no year of his life that he was not a wiser, cooler, better man than he had been the year preceding. Because that's the aspiration. It's to get better. The essence of this is progression. It's movement forward. And it gives us the opportunity to do some personal reflection and ask ourselves if we're doing this.
