You get XP in a special way. Usually it's what they call a GM intrusion or discovering places also gives you some because it is a game of discovery. Every type of thing you play as has a list of intrusions you could choose to do. Some might make sense for your character to be able to intrude on the world, but it takes forward to level up. I really enjoy things like that. There are doglike creatures, obviously. You played Nominara once with us. It's a thing when you've come across all the heads sticking out of the pond, gibbering and they kept throwing heads at me. That was pretty bad too.
