Introduction
Peter Adamson: When it came to understanding Aristotle, a Veroise was the man. Gersonides wrote commentaries on epitomies of Aristotelian logical writings in Latin and Hebrew. These exegetical works represent the high water mark of response to a Veroises among Jews. Inha Falira imagines a debate between a Jewish philosophically minded Jew and a religious scholar who thinks there is no contradiction between philosophy and faith.
