The Importance of Distributed Databases
The app itself, the stuff that serves up lessons and quizzes and reviews is just look up a lesson. Everything's going through database. We used to put stuff in the database. You grab stuff from the database. I mean, it's not really that much different from written PHP, really. So that's some of the optimizations that Jess and I did to make the thing, you know, 2030 40x faster was to do all that kind of stuff.
