How to Remind a Patient of Adaptive Interactions

Sometimes a patient, depending on kind of how things are being organized in their brain might have a lot of cognitive distortions. And so one strategy that we can use to kind of insert a little bit of healing into the interview process itself is to when we say something back to the patient, we are looking for the adaptive trait.
