Composing Is Who You Are

I'm an excitable personality, I always have been. And I find that the Earth lights me up. We live in Utah, which lays claim to some pretty serious contenders for most beautiful spots on the planet as well. So it's not like you're, you know, sort of uncalibrated or something and have this disproportionate reaction to beautiful vistas. I don't think a composer is who I am. If it's something that I do, then it's something I cannot do at some point and still be.
