Are There Any Sociological Influences That Have Led to Quantephysics?

i'm interested to probe why a consensus hasn't been reached on these questions. I know a lot of people who think the many worlds hypothesis is just so obviously true that they kind of are in disbelief that anyone has as an alternative o interpretation. They're somewhat drawn to looking for kind of sociological explanations for why it is that everyone doesn't agree with them, because they tink that their position is so obvious. But i'm curios to know whether you think, have there been any social influences that have perhaps led this research project of figuring out how to interpret quantephysics? A astray, goodness, yes.
