The US's Development as an Urban Knowledge Economy
I'm extremely worried about the US's development as an urban knowledge economy if there continues to be this kind of strong push on the part of the Republican party. And at the same time, I think the Democratic party does under this framework is also not doesn't have both the strong incentives and the capacity to address some of the really terrible problems that are afflicting some of the most innovative hubs like affordability and housing. So I think what our framework does is call on us or sort of cause us to sort of rethink the political economy, the knowledge economy in a way that draws into sharp relief how the development of the American political economy has created new challenges.
