The Martian Is Not a Sci-Fi Book
It didn't serve a purpose in the overall narrative well it's just to add drama to this but it was a narrative is like aliens give us monoliths every so often it's not really a great plot. It would have been a better book that could have been its own bookYeah yeah I'm sure that is the concept of sci-fi there's a whole lot of there is a lot of sci-Fi stuff about like a person who's on the broken ship or something like that and they have to figure it out.
