Studying Self Esteem in Fifth Graders
There are design issues as you go into this study that have to do with a greater societa good and the ethical obligation we have to conduct this study in such a way that has integrity and has value ultimately. I think these things are as equally applicable to studying self esteem in fifth graders as it is to a randomized clinical trial in developing a vaccine. And one that's not on my scribbled yellow sticky which is, you don't have to be studying a vaccine where power is important.
