Einstein's Theory of Relativity
Einstein came up with a theory and equation to suggest that light was made of what he called wave packets. For his second paper in 1905, Einstein mathematically proved the existence of atoms. In its simplest form, Einstein's theory of relativity is a theory of gravity. Before Einstein, our understanding of the laws of nature were largely based on the ideas of Sir Isaac Newton.
