The First CTA Strategy to Launch an ETF

Ospus is the first CTA ever to launch an ETF. It was back in 2008. We were trying to break open that retail space and really give access to retail investors to something that otherwise was a little bit opaque, definitely hard to get their hands on. Being in Canada, a very commodity-focused nation, everybody will tell you they have commodity exposure but what they really mean is resource equity or debt which isn't commodity exposure. So we're always looking for ways to enable the investor, whether it's retail or institutional, to have access to products.
