Is There a Level of Consciousness?
The more work we do here, sumably, the better or diagnostic ability will be to determine whether or not people actually have much more consciousness than we've given them credit for. In these many milly conscious patients, you shouldn't think of them as enor like you and i. These they fluctuate in and out of consciousness a so maybe just by putting a little machine on their head, or some electrodes, that maybe they could train a computer to recognize different patterns of brain activity.
