Covid is developing a system that uses natural language processing to understand what people are saying. The technology could one day be used in smart speakers, wearable computers and even phones. But first the team has to work out how much information can be extracted from each of these voices. They've been working on an app called Rope which will let users book with multiple voice recognition systems at once. This week they'll reveal their next step - multi-turning software.
