Gravitational Waves in General Relativity
There are no shortage of very difficult calculations to do in general relativity. If you put down one mass and you allow it to rotate, that problem wasn't solved for almost 50 years after Einstein put forth general relativity. And then if you go to the two mass problem, we know there is no analytical solution to solve that. That has to be solved numerically. But I don't want any mathematicians to get mad at me because I don't know if there's a proof that there can't be an analytical solution.
