The convention on biological diversity meetings in geneva last month marked the first time negotiators met for talks since march 20 twentieth when the covered pandemic pretty much shut world down. There have been reports that little progress was made at the geneva talks, while a commentary published by manga bay had a much more positive take,. indigenous land rights had taken centre stage in the draft global framework for biodiversity conservation. We also speak to day with genifer tauli corpus, a senior global policy and advocacy lead for an organization called neatero who also participates in the convention on biology diversity talks as a member of the indigenous caucus. She gives us the indigenous perspective on what's currently in the draft bio diversity
