The Unusual Borders of Russia

When Russia was the Soviet Union it had two land borders with Iran and Russia, both through Turkmenistan. It does have this outpost in what is now Kaliningrad, which means it does mortar on the Poland. And that's a really odd little angle now that feels stuck in everything. I mean, it makes you wonder why they're so paranoid about being surrounded, isn't it? Because they're so vast.
