The History of the Mahabharat

If you read the text of the Mahabharat, it's clearly not a pastoral India that you see. Pasta means rural agriculture in India. It sounds kind of like the Saraswati Hindu phase of India's history. We don't know what the people of that time called the cities. Harappa is what we now call this archaeological site. They would have called it with some other name, which we have lost.
