20 years ago, we were promised that in a decade, we would be walking aroundike our genom on a computer chip in our wallet. And i think there are some sort of kind of intractable issues when it comes to claiming that we can personalize medicine based on the genom. The lesson of a decade of genetics has been its more plicated than we thought. We're winning the war on cancer but if you put up 90% of people's geans back down, not even 19%.
