The Fair Light Computer

We were recording in Hartford, Connecticut. That was his studio 45 factory. And so we could go down to Massachusetts and he knew a guy who had a fair light computer in his studio. So I was pro computer from the start because you can do edits and cross fades and stuff like that with a computer. You can't with a tape machine take the bass drum and move it to a different part of the song and onto a different track. It's very cool. Have you seen this video? No. There's an amazing video of I think Herbie Hancock playing with playing the fair light in the studio with somebody else that's famous to like maybe it's like Nyl Rogers or something
