Sufism Within the Islamic Tradition

Safran Foer: I was brought up in a Catholic-ish household, but like I describe my parents as lazy Catholics because they really did not teach me anything. But I've also engaged with with a bunch of friends that are Muslim, and they've taught me a lot about Islam from them. So it's very interesting how all these different world religions have these components of them that seem to be pointing at something very similar. He says he is fascinated by Sufism within the Islamic tradition.
