The Differences Between Black and White in Colors

Hue drift is when you mix a color lighter or darker and it begins to move out of its hue family. If someone has a tube color, like instead of going black to darker, they look for a darker pigment that's in that same color family. Most of the time colors on the cool side of the wheel on the traditional wheel, the diaxes in violet looks nearly black. But typically you don't even have to mess all that much with black. Some people use black in their palettes and people don't.
