Heidegger and Nietzsche: A Comparison
Heidegger is definitely an anti-modern but I think Nietzsche and this I think one of the things that we would want to preserve in him is that he wants to go through modernity like he's not when he's critiquing what he calls a master in a slave morality. He doesn't say let's return back to the age of the master morality and get out of this Christian he thinks of Christianity as a slave morality because it wants to bring everything down to the same base level. The way capitalism has this fundamental leveling means there will never be any kind of singularity or individuality for anyone, even if they are very wealthy. In his book Beyond Good and Evil
