Labor's Approach to Pay Rises
Senior doctors are still demanding a 35% pay rise. They want the government to acknowledge that their pay has been eroded. But it doesn't look as if that acknowledgement is coming anytime soon. The Dutch have spent more money on out of hospital care than in hospital care over 20 years. Labor says they're going to find another way of revenue raising for workforce increases, but would need more money If they were going to pour additional money into prevention.
