Informed consent is so crucial in this situation, because the privileged position is not just about access or access to electricity. So we did contextualize other parts of the written consent form. And for example, we were worried that our participants might feel like if they say no, they won't get any of the services that the partner organization is providing and other partner's do rely on that. I don't claim that we have full understanding of our privileged position as researchers but it's a crucial element that we should all be very hyper aware of.
