Ophigal: Games are artificial sculptures of activities where you take often a natural activity and you tweak it in all kinds of ways to make it something you want to do for its own sake. He says games can be the ultimate auto tele activity that you do for yourself because precisely because they're the activity where what you get out of it is useless, right? It's just random points. But I see this a lot in that field of sports where things actually just end up getting more dangerous and deadly along the way.
