Sliver began production in October 1992 and was set for release the weekend before Memorial Day. Director noise confirmed, quote, if you counted the square inches of flesh that are buried in the film, you could say that there are more male than female. Stone: I have never understood why in Hollywood, male screen sexuality is taboo, but female sexuality is not. In order to play a character that vulnerable, Stone used her newfound power to take charge.
