Is Spinoza a Pantheist?
Stephen Nablur says Spinoza is a philosophical Rorschach test where everyone that looks at him sees what they want to see. I think if I wanted to, I come with a predisposition where I want to see Spinoza as a panantheist and therefore find Karl Jasper's argument about the transcendent aspect of the infinity of the attributes to be very compelling. There's also a point of difference between pantheism and panantheism, which isn't strictly one of definition, but one of attitude. The relationship to the divine is different than the moral approaches to the religion. Not that I'm an atheist, I wouldn't, myself, actually one
