Leonard: Tattooing is a very interesting skin phenomenon that is not, let's say, completely reserved to the sensory experience of the subject. In this sense, it is many times an attempt to carve something in the other on the body. But you know, we also have makeup. It's thinking about skin in terms of gender and identity. What about racism? It is a political subjective phenomenon that has to do many times with the skin. And I think we should also be sensitive to its different renditions. Because I don't think that everyone tattoos for the same reason, or achieves the same effect in tattooing.
