The Importance of Typology
The pattern of each day of the creation recurs in general through the Bible. God sees and he approves, so he's evaluating his creation on each day. He distributes things that he's made or goods that he's produced. Those are evaluated by those who receive those gifts and then there's enjoyment of them. That's going to become a pattern not just for the creation week, but he's going to use that as a template for understanding what God is doing throughout the history of the Bible.
