Trans Rights and Advocacy Challenges

This chapter explores the systemic challenges faced by incarcerated transgender individuals in accessing healthcare and the legal battles surrounding these issues. The conversation highlights the need for assertive advocacy within the trans community and critiques the role of existing LGBTQ organizations in promoting trans rights, particularly in the context of recent political developments.
