Many worlds is the only interpretation quan mechanics that directly follows the math. Worm holes are a hypothetical construct that were made famous by einstein and collaborators. People have tried, and they have not completely succeeded in saying it's impossible to make a worm hole. A lot of work being done these days in the a d s c of t correspondence uses worm holes of various kinds. But they're not trying to model real world. They're tring to learn general principles that might tell us about it.
