Code Is Written by People With Specific Context and Specific Understanding of How the Thing Needs to Work

The problem comes down to in my opinion the fact that humans wrote this code. Code is not being written by computers. It's being written by people who have understanding a subtext. And so when you have that code written and then maybe that person leaves about person joins a different team and their focus and priority is on something else, there is still human subtext that exists within the services that have been written. So yeah, it feels like that can almost become ossified if you're not careful because you wind up with a release process that's 2000 steps long.
