What Is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial intelligence is a machine taking on capabilities, solving problems. The technologies that we currently have are extremely narrow. We don't have anything that yet comes close to the kind of broad based general intelligence that a person or your dog has. Machines are much more narrowly focused in that they do very specific things and can learn to do specific things.
