The Politics of Self Denial
I think this faction of the left seems to try to present things as a, in a sort of impersonal way, which doesn't directly speak for their own interests but presents it as being good for everyone. I mean, one of the counter arguments you'll get is people who are on these online platforms constantly and using it as a tool of their political evangelism will deny that it has any impact. Like those, they'll say if you focus on it or if you analyze it or scrutinize that you're doing something really stupid because it has no effect on the real world. And the logical question is, okay, so then why are you on it all the time?
