Is the Roman Catholic Magisterium Adding to the Gospel?
Gavin: Who calls the shots for what Christianity is? And so, it's a pretty foundational question. The way I experience it as a Protestant is the Roman Catholic Church is claiming the ability to speak infallibly and to take the most recent dogmas. These are not optional. If the papacy is true, I'm outside the faith. Gavin: It seems to me that the Roman Catholic Magisterium is adding onto the gospel. Are people of God under the Word of God or is the Word ofGod under the people of God?
