In 19 forty, when france was occupied antiaes antipatis, persons, especially laber leaders, or leaders of jewish organizations, found themselves in a death trap. They were on the list the gestapolists. The jewish labor committee named it it the persons it wanted to protect. And these persons were to find their visas by the american consulate in marseilles. So another committee, veran fry, certainly helped them to to go to obtain the visa from the consulate and probably ded money too for living during those days. In spite of the quota system, they obtained that. Another that, at the same time, the jalsea created another rescue network
